AI coding is here, and it’s transforming how we create software plus boosting developer productivity, according to Github by 55%. However, just because we can use AI in coding it doesn't mean we should – at least not without considering the potential risks and unintended consequences.

When used responsibly, AI can help solve the greatest obstacle to successful software security programs: the imbalance that exists between the effort developers spend finding flaws and the time to fix them. But when developers rush to jump on the craze, AI can do more harm than good as it’s only as good as the data on which it’s trained.
